Equine Semen Conference

This course will demonstrate collection, evaluation and preparation of semen for on-site insemination, shipping of chilled semen, and the use of frozen semen. Participants will have the opportunity in the laboratory to evaluate sperm motility, prepare semen slides for examination, extend semen and prepare semen for shipment, and practice artificial insemination.

Equine Breeding Management

This course is designed to increase knowledge in the area of equine reproduction.  Speakers are known in their respective areas for clinical service, education and research.  Laboratories will cover rectal palpation, ultrasonography, uterine endometrial cultures and biopsies, and more.
